T.O. firm looks to expand
TELCOM Industries provides antenna systems to civilian aircraft manufacturers and expects healthy growth because of increased demands for highspeed Internet and satellite TV services on airline flights. TELCOM was recently selected to provide the satellite communications antenna system for the new Boeing 787 airliner that goes into production next year. TELCOM is also delivering technology and engineering innovations to three high-growth wireless communications markets: WiFi local networking, WiMax wide-area networking and radio-frequency identification (RFID) for physical asset monitoring and inventory control. The company expects to double its revenues and employee base over the next three years, creating more than 100 engineering, manufacturing, marketing and sales jobs in Conejo Valley and providing Ventura County professionals an alternative to commuting daily to the South Bay or Antelope Valley. TELCOM is a global provider of antennas, antenna positioners and control systems for the airborne, wireless, defense and satellite communications markets. Its clients include leading aviation, electronics and military contractors-Rockwell Collins, Raytheon, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin. Founded in 1971 in Chatsworth, TELCOM moved to Thousand Oaks in 2002 to a 70,000square-foot facility. Currently, there are 106 employees at company headquarters. Interested applicants should send resume and salary history to TELCOM Industries, Inc., Attn: Human Resources Department, 375 Conejo Ridge Ave., Thousand Oaks, CA 91361 or apply online at: hr@tecomind.com. |
