Wine fest will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo and Las Virgenes The fifth annual Golden Coast Wine & Food Festival, an event benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo and Las Virgenes, will be presented this month. A Vintner's Dinner is scheduled for Thurs., May 18 at North Ranch Country Club, 4761 Valley Spring Drive, Westlake Village. At 6:30 p.m. there will be a reception on the terrace followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. The fivecourse meal will be complemented by Malibu and Santa Barbara County boutique wines. The event includes a live auction featuring wine-related packages to bid on. Attire is California cocktail. An RSVP is required by Mon., May 15. Cost is $250 with advance reservations a must. From 3 to 6 p.m. on Sun., May 21, a Wine Festival will be presented in the gardens of the Westlake Village Inn, 31943 Agoura Road, Westlake Village. The cost is $75 and advance reservations are recommended. Attire is casual. The ticket price includes a souvenir glass and the opportunity to sample more than 50 wines and partake of hors d'oeuvres prepared by local restaurants. The event will include music by the Bandidos de Amor, a silent auction and "Wine, Chocolate and Weight Loss" mini-seminar by weight loss guru Robert Ferguson.
