TOHS dance team wins at national event

The Thousand Oaks High School Dance Team recently competed in Irvine at the Miss Dance Drill Nationals. The team won two first-place awards in small lyrical and large hip-hop. The small jazz and medium jazz took second place.

Soloists Sara Stark won second place in the junior category and Mariah Murphy won first in the freshman group.

The dance team and all the school dance classes will perform on May 5 and 6 in the high school gym.
