Goebel Center offers talk on Parkinson's

The Goebel Senor Adult Center will host a seminar on Parkinson's disease at 10 a.m. Thurs., April 27 at the center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, adjacent to the Thousand Oaks Library.

Guest speaker is James P. Sutton, MD, a board-certified and fellowship-trained neurologist who specializes in research on Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and other brain disorders. He is the medical director of

the Pacific Neuroscience Medical Group in Oxnard and Santa Barbara and has conducted more than 45 clinical trials.

At the seminar, Sutton will discuss local research, new and available clinical research trials, and how to volunteer to participate in research trials.
