Holocaust survivor to share his story Holocaust survivor Abe Stone, a resident of Agoura Hills, will be the featured speaker at a Yom Hashoah Memorial hosted by Chabad of Westlake Village at 8 p.m. Wed., April 26 at the Chabad Center, 2524 Townsgate Road, Westlake Village. "Stone is an outspoken and ardent believer in the need for the remaining survivors to share their stories firsthand," said Rabbi Yitzchak Sapochkinsky. "As the years go by, more and more of those who suffered from the Nazis' atrocities are sadly taken from us. We must educate ourselves as well as our children and listen to these personal accounts, as difficult as it may be," Sapochkinsky said. Stone was a teenager at the outbreak of World War II and he has vivid memories of the brutality of the Nazis against his father, his friends and then against himself. He survived several death camps and eventually came to the U. S. after the liberation of the Allied forces. His story is documented in Steven Spielberg's "Shoah files."
