Renowned pianist will be New West guest artist
Symphony music director Boris Brott will conduct the sixth Masterpiece Series concert of the season that also includes Georges Enesco's "Rumanian Rhapsody No. 1 in A Major, Opus 11a" and "Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Opus 43" by Jean Sibelius. The concert is at 8 p.m. Sat., April 8 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Brazilian-born pianist Cohen has performed with major orchestras throughout Europe, the U. S. and South America and has appeared as a recitalist in major concert halls around the world.
