Georgette King’s letter to the editor last week complaining about too many traffic tickets said, “I am arguing the validity of a speeding ticket.”

It should have said, “I am not arguing the validity of a speeding ticket.”

The rock roll ’n’ roll band Halifax is based in Thousand Oaks, not Calabasas.

We had it incorrect in a photo caption last week.
