Trash collection won’t change next week
     Newbury Disposal will maintain its regular trash and recycling pick-up schedules for Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park residents during the week of Presidents Day, Mon., Feb. 20. So for next week, Feb. 20 through 24, there will be no changes in rubbish collection.

Business tax certificates need to be renewed
     Business taxes become delinquent and subject to penalty if not received by the city of Thousand Oaks on or before Tues., Feb. 28. The law requires that a business license or tax certificate be obtained before any business is conducted within the city of Thousand Oaks.
