Assistance League donates clothes to school children
      Members of Assistance League of Conejo Valley gave out new clothing items, including Tshirts, sweat pants, jackets, shoe vouchers, socks and underwear recently to about 175 youngsters at Conejo Elementary School as part of a project called Operation School Bell.

NPHS Choir performs concerts
      The Newbury Park High School Choral Music Department will host its annual winter concert at 7 p.m. Wed. and Thurs., Dec. 20 and 21 in the performing arts center at 456 Reino Road, Newbury Park. Tickets are a donation of $7 and can be purchased from choir members or at the door. Proceeds benefit the music department.
