Local debutantes presented

The Conejo Valley Chapter of National Charity League Inc. hosted its 25th annual National Charity League Ball on Sat., Nov. 25 at Hyatt Westlake Plaza in Westlake Village. At that time, the organization formally presented 15 debutantes, all of whom graduated from local high schools in June.

The ball was a celebration of the girls’ six years of philanthropic service. This year’s theme was “Beautiful as You.”

National Charity League is a nonprofit, mother/daughter organization supporting local community agencies and charity organizations. The Conejo Valley Chapter assists more than 20 philanthropies in the area. Mothers and daughters work together as they volunteer their time and energy to help others.

The debutantes are in their freshman year at colleges and universities across the United States.

Following is a list of the debutantes, their parents and the colleges they attend.

Kristine Amos Benton, daughter of Ronald and Sally Benton of Thousand Oaks, is attending Moorpark College.

Jenna Marie Brummett, daughter of Gary and Linda Brummett of Agoura Hills, is attending Diablo Valley College.

Carly Marie Erickson, daughter of Tad and Deborah Erickson of Westlake Village, is attending University of Oregon.

Kaitlyn Marie Frake, daughter of Joseph and Janine Frake of Simi Valley, is attending Moorpark College.

Jessica Nancy Hagy, daughter of Stephen and Aileen Hagy of Thousand Oaks, is attending USC.

Jennifer Patricia Halligan, daughter of Timothy and Susan Halligan of Westlake Village, is attending Loyola Marymount University.

Christina Nicole Kemp, daughter of John and Cynthia Kemp of Thousand Oaks, is attending Pepperdine University.

Elizabeth Abigail McElroy, daughter of Gail McElroy-Levy and Thomas McElroy of Westlake Village, is attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Jennifer Rose Nunez, daughter of Philip and Debora Nunez of Oak Park, is attending UCLA.

Kattarina Georgy Oswaks, daughter of Doreen Fox Oswaks of Westlake Village and Jonathan Oswaks of Thousand Oaks, is attending Long Island University at Brooklyn.

Ashley Anne Pearsall, daughter of Richard and Wendy Pearsall of Westlake Village, is attending University of Arizona.

Meghan Elizabeth Raab, daughter of Robert Raab and Kathleen Raab of Westlake Village, is attending University of San Francisco.

Roopa Lakshmi Radhakrishnan, daughter of Rama and Sumathi Radhakrishnan of Thousand Oaks, is attending UC Irvine. Sabrina V. Saltzman, daughter
