Soccer club wins three tournaments in a row

In early November, the Real So Cal Girls U-16 soccer team from Agoura and Westlake captured the Premier League title of the Coast Soccer League.

The Premier League is the highest division that a youth soccer team can compete in. The Premier League championship qualified the team to participate in the 20th annual United Soccer League North American Finals as the Pacific Southern California representative.

The finals took place in Tampa, Fla., Nov. 17-21. Real So Cal beat teams from North Carolina, New Jersey, Illinois and Pennsylvania to capture the title.

With two days' rest, the team traveled to San Diego over the Thanksgiving holiday to compete in the prestigious Girls Surf Cup Tournament, where they won another championship.

After playing 10 matches in 10 days, the girls are ready to start their high school soccer season.
