Lancers finish second at Newbury Park Wrestling Tournament

CLU dodgeball championship goes to Paul Vargo

      For Paul Vargo, it doesn't get any sweeter than this. The hard work, the dedication, it all paid off during last week's intramural dodgeball championship at the Soiland Recreation Center on the campus of California Lutheran University. "I'm going to Disneyland!" exclaimed Vargo, following his team's 3-1 victory over Patches O'Houlihan in the final.

      In early November, the Real So Cal Girls U-16 soccer team from Agoura and Westlake captured the Premier League title of the Coast Soccer League. The Premier League is the highest division that a youth soccer team can compete in.

Sanders steps down as TOHS football coach
      Mike Sanders has resigned as head football coach at Thousand Oaks High. Sanders coached at TOHS for seven seasons, winning a Marmonte League championship in 2001 and compiling a 45-32 overall record. His teams qualified for the postseason five times.
