Conejo Valley home sales remain sluggish

October sales of Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 116, compared to 114 sold in September and 146 a year ago, according to Glen Scalise, president of Conejo Valley Association of Realtors.

Median sales price for singlefamily homes in October was $777,778; in October last year it was $823,170. The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half for less. Total sales for all real estate

transactions in October were $141.6 million; for October 2005 the total was $202.1 million.

New residential listings totaled 217 in October, compared to 226 in October a year ago.
