Music-lovers event coming to CLU

The wind ensemble and the jazz improvisation ensemble of California Lutheran University will perform in an 8 p.m. concert on Fri., Nov. 17 in Samuelson Chapel.
The CLU wind ensemble, conducted by Daniel Geeting, will present a selection from the wind music traditions of Great Britain. Featured composers will include Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst and Gordon Jacob. The jazz improvisation ensemble will explore tunes from the standard American songbook, under the direction of adjunct faculty member Peter Woodford.
A freewill offering will be taken.
