Veterans Day ceremony at Conejo Creek park

There will be a Veterans Day ceremony from 10 to 11 a.m. Sat., Nov. 11 at Conejo Creek Park North, behind the Senior Center on Janss Road. The event is free and open to the public.

The Military Order of the World Wars and the Military Order of the Purple Heart, two national veterans organizations, will conduct the ceremony.

The program will include patriotic music, a flyover by Condor airplanes and a talk by educator Arthur Neil Borgquist on "The Human Cost of War."
