Transplant recipient organization to meet in Westlake

Hans Gritsch, MD will be the guest speaker at a meeting of the Transplant Recipients International Organization Ventura County West Valley Chapter. The meeting is at 7 p.m. Fri., Nov. 17 at the Baxter Health Care Building, One Baxter Way, Westlake Village.

Gritsch, surgical director at UCLA's kidney and kidneypancreas transplant department, will speak about issues of importance to transplant recipients, as well as those awaiting a transplant and their families.

The public and local physicians are welcome to attend the free meeting.
