City's Council on Aging has a vacancy

The city of Thousand Oaks has announced that an opening exists on its Council on Aging. Anyone interested in obtaining an application or who wishes to learn more about the vacancy should contact the city clerk in city hall, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., or call (805) 449-2151.

The term will run until June 2008. Applicants must be city residents age 60 or older. The position cannot be filled by someone who already serves on another committee, commission or board. The applicant closing date is Thurs., Nov. 30.
