Reelect Phelps

As longtime residents of Thousand Oaks and the parents of a graduate of our school district, we believe this year's school board election is the most important issue to face our community in many years.

Our children deserve the best education we can provide for them. The future of our society is dependent on our schools. It is of critical importance that voters in Conejo Valley cast their ballot to reelect Pat Phelps to the Conejo Valley school board.

For the past eight years, Pat has served our children and community in an honest and diligent manner. Pat is a rational and articulate voice on the school board. She faithfully represents the needs of all the students.

Under her leadership as a board bember and board president, not only have our high schools attained one of the highest graduation rates in California, but all three comprehensive high schools have received "California Distinguished School" honors.

For our schools to continue to strive to provide all our children with a quality education, it is imperative that we have a school board that works together in a cooperative and honest manner.

Those candidates who are advertising false statistics and untrue statements do not deserve to serve on our school board.

Pat's integrity and devotion to educational excellence is desperately needed for our school district to continue its high standards of achievement.
