Phelps deserves your vote

One of the most important features of living in the Conejo Valley is the strong public school system we enjoy.

Our students go to schools where they are challenged academically, have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities and their campuses are safe. Our high schools have achieved one of the highest graduation rates in the state of California and we have 10 national Blue Ribbon schools.

These achievements have taken place during the past eight years, while Pat Phelps has served on the Conejo Valley board of education.

It is important that we elect board members whose goals are to maintain the high standards already set and to continue to strive for improvement in our public schools. It is essential that our board members be well informed on the issues involving our schools and to be fair and open minded when dealing with these issues.

For the board to function at its highest level, we need trustees to work cooperatively and honestly with one another and the community they are serving. Pat Phelps is such a person.

Over the past eight years, Pat has worked diligently as a member of the Conejo Valley Unified School District Board of Education. She is an honest, fair, intelligent woman who's lived her life with the utmost integrity.
