The Conejo Jewish Academy will offer an eight-part course on basic Judaism. "The Essentials- A Guide to Jewish Life and Living" will be on Thursdays 8 p.m. beginning Oct. 26 at 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.

According to instructor Rabbi Shlomo Bistritzky, "The Essentials" will blend the spiritual and the practical and deepen knowledge and appreciation of Judaism.
