ark (1-3)
Otlook: The undefeated
Chargers continued their winning
ways against Simi Valley last Fri-
day by beating the Pioneers 28-19.
With running back Matt Bra-
dley limited to 62 yards on 18
carries, Agoura quarterback Doug
Shumway took to the air, throw-
ing three touchdown passes to
defeat Simi Valley.
Newbury Park was less fortu-
nate, getting flattened by Westlake
on the road 34-13.
In defeat, NPHS quarterback
Colby Cameron completed 33-of-
55 passes for 365 yards with two
touchdowns and two interceptions.
Look for Agoura to attack the
Newbury Park defense early and
often in this matchup. The Panthers
are allowing 26.8 points a game.
Royal (2-2) at
Westlake (4-0)
Otlook: Westlake quarter-
back Ryan Campbell played his
finest game of the year against
Newbury Park last week, throw-
ing for 280 yards and two scores.
With running back Byron
Sells limited in the Marmonte
League opener against the Pan-
thers, Campbell shouldered the
offensive load, got the win and
may have silenced his critics.
Hosting Royal this Friday
night, Westlake will face a squad
that's fuming after allowing
Moorpark running back Darrell
Scott to torch them for 225 yards
and three touchdowns during a
40-7 defeat in Week 4.
Westlake should expect
Royal's defense to put up a
tougher fight in this showdown.
