'Tennis Anyone?' mixer for parents, kids at Inn

The public is invited to join a monthly "Tennis Anyone?" mixer at the Pacific Tennis Club, located at Westlake Village Inn, 4700 Lakeview Canyon Road in the city of Westlake Village.

This event is for parents of schoolchildren interested in play- ing tennis-from a true beginner to an advanced player. It's a way to meet and mingle with parents and get some exercise while do- nating money to your child's school (fundraiser, PTA, student council, etc.). The mixers will be held on the first Friday of the month, starting Oct. 6.

Here's the tentative schedule: Check-in at 10:30 a.m.; combina- tion of group and clinic instruc- tion; round robin; racket briefing (see which one fits your game); small prize giveaway; and re- freshments.

The cost for each mixer is $15 per person, $5 of which will be donated to your child's school.
