Michael Bolton Michael Bolton Singer Michael Bolton was booked to perform at the Civic Arts Plaza Fred Kavli Theater after 200,000 season brochures were printed and mailed to resi- dents of Thousand Oaks and sur- rounding areas. That's why there's no mention of him in the publication.

Those who would like to see the Grammy winner at 8 p.m. Fri., Oct. 20 can purchase tick- ets in person at the Civic Arts Plaza box office or through Ticketmaster by going to www.ticketmaster.com or call- ing (805) 583-8700. Tickets are listed at $73.50, $63.50 or $43.50 on the facility's website, www.civicartsplaza.com.

For those who don't have a brochure, one can be picked up at the Civic Arts Plaza or, for more up-to-date information, the website is a good resource, according to marketing manager Vanessa Pellegrino.

"The online brochure makes it easier for patrons to stay in- formed," she said.

Another way to keep in- formed about upcoming events is by signing up for a monthly e-mail blast that automatically notifies patrons when something new is added or other produc- tion information becomes avail- able, Pellegrino said.

E-mail blast subscriptions are available at the website, she said.

Getting the latest information is only the first step. Patrons have to act quickly because fa- vorite shows can sell out fast.

"Michael Crawford is a hot, hot show," Pellgrino noted.

Crawford will perform on Sat., Oct. 7.

The Theater League will present "Chicago" on Sun., Oct. 15, with "Man of la Mancha" in December, "On Golden Pond" in February, "Jesus Christ Su- perstar" in March and "The Pro- ducers" in April.
