Pumpkin Run registration begins now

The Thousand Oaks/ Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce is now taking registrations for the 28th annual Great Pumpkin Runs and Health Fair.

It's scheduled for Sun., Oct. 29. Starting times are 8 a.m. for the 5K Devilish Dash, 8:50 a.m. for the 10K Goblin's Gallop and 9 a.m. for the 1 Mile Trick- or-Treat Trot.

Registration begins at 7 a.m.

Guests and participants are also invited to visit the mini health expo from 7 a.m. to noon.

Races start at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive.

Running clubs receive 20 percent off registration fees. Registration forms are available online at www.towlvchamber. org or register online at www.active.com. Personalized awards will be

given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for the 5K and 10K runs. Medals will be awarded to all finishers of the 1-mile walk/ run, and prizes also will go to the best costumes.

This year's sponsors are Dole, Community Medical Group, California American Water and JHGrafix. Refresh- ments and goodies will be pro- vided for all runners.

Vendor space for the Health Fair is available. The cost is $120 for Chamber members and $175 for nonmembers and includes a 6-foot table and two chairs.
