City Council forum is tonight

The Thousand Oaks- Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a city of Thousand Oaks candidates' forum from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, Thurs., Oct. 5, at the Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.

The event is free and open to the public.

Three seats are open on the council for four-year terms. The council candidates are Claudia Bill-de la Pea, an in- cumbent; John DiGuiseppe; Andy Fox, an incumbent; Dennis Gillette, an incumbent; Jerry Goldman; Louis Edward Masry; Elaine McKearn; Janet Wall and Bob Wilson.

Each candidate will be given two minutes to make an intro- ductory statement and three min- utes to make a closing statement.

Each candidate will be asked to respond to questions prepared by the Chamber. Questions will be randomly selected and the same question will not be asked consecutively. The responses will be limited to two minutes.

There will be no questions accepted from the audience.
