School board candidates forum

The Conejo Valley and Simi Valley GOP Women will present a joint luncheon and candidates' forum on Fri., Sept. 15 at the Lost Canyons Country Club, 3301 Lost Canyon Drive, Simi Valley. A social period begins at 11:30 a.m. with meeting and speakers at noon.

In the forum, 17 candidates have accepted from Conejo Valley Unified School District, the Ventura County Board of Education, Moorpark City Council, Simi Valley City Council and Thousand Oaks City Council. Other candidates are expected from Conejo Recreation and Park District and the office of Dick Mountjoy, candidate for U.S. Senate.

The luncheon will cost $20 and reservations must be made with Bev Donley at (805) 495-3409 or Sylvia Musgrove at (805) 597-5418.
