Senior homeowners, renters get rebate cash

Seniors can receive free assistance with their Homeowners and Renters Rebate through Sept. 29 at the Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

To qualify, applicants must be 62 years old, blind or disabled as of Dec. 31, 2005; live in California; pay $50 or more in rent per month if renting; and have a total household income of $40,000 or less, including Social Security.
