Newcomers gather for coffee

The Westlake Village Newcomers Club will host its first coffee of the fall season from 10 a.m. to noon on Tues., Sept. 12 at Westlake Yacht Club, 32123 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village. The social group is open to residents in ZIP codes 91361, 91362 and 91377.

The club invites anyone who has recently moved to Westlake Village, eastern Thousand Oaks and Oak Park as well as those residents who've lived in the area but have some newfound free time.

At the meeting, board members and activity chairs will present information on the club's activities, which include dinner outings, wine tastings, book club, movies, hiking and tennis.
