Classic vehicles will roll out at Channel Islands Harbor

Classic vehicles dating back to 1975 and earlier will be on display during the Ventura Vintage Rods Harbor Run 16 on Sun., Sept. 10 in Harborview Park at Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard.

The public will have the opportunity to view more than 350 classic cars during the free event, which starts at 8 a.m. and concludes with an awards ceremony at 1:30 p.m.

All types of classic American-made cars will be available for viewing, including street rods, customs and pickup trucks.

In addition, visitors can browse through a number of vendor booths offering everything from automotive purchases to electronics and women's accessories.

Food and beverage booths and musical entertainment will be provided throughout the day. All proceeds from the day will benefit local charities.

The entry fee is $20 per vehicle. Highlights include raffle prizes, a silent auction and a 50/ 50 drawing.

Ventura Vintage Rods is a family-oriented club committed to having fun and promoting street rods in a positive and safe manner. The annual event raises thousands of dollars each year for local charities.
