Liver, pancreas transplant surgeon to speak in Westlake

Ronald W. Busuttil, MD, PhD, will be the guest speaker at the next meeting for Transplant Recipients International Organization's Ventura County West Valley Chapter from 7 to 9p.m., Fri., Sept. 15 in the Conejo room at the Baxter Health Care Company, 1 Baxter Way, Westlake Village.

Busuttil is the director of Dumont-UCLA liver and pancreas transplant program and the chief of surgery for UCLA. He's a world renowned expert in liver and pancreas transplantation.

The meeting is open to anyone waiting for an organ transplant, transplant recipients and their family members. There is no charge to attend.
