Church begins choir rehearsals

Emmanuel Presbyterian Church is starting up choir rehearsals for the new year at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Thurs., Aug. 31.

There are no auditions. In addition to singing weekly at 9 a.m. Sunday services, the 40 member choir performs several special events during the year, including Christmas and Easter musicals.

There's also a Music Sunday when the Chancel Choir is joined by the children's and youth choirs.
