Residents are urged to donate blood due to diminishing supply

The blood supply for this area dipped critically low again this week, in spite of the public's response to the Blood Center's recent appeal for blood. The supply of Type A-positive blood is critically low. The other types are also needed.

The Blood Center is especially concerned with the Labor Day holiday approaching and too few blood drives scheduled before and after to maintain a steady blood supply.
