Cancer Hope Foundation's fifth annual Camp Keepsake Weekend Camp Retreat is scheduled from Fri. through Sun., Oct. 6 through 8 at Camp Mt. Crags in Malibu Canyon, Calabasas. The event is free to adult cancer patients and up to five of their guests, such as friends or family members.

Organizers call the weekend "a place to laugh, cry and embrace life together, Camp Keepsake provides a wonderful opportunity for people affected by cancer to take a break away from their typical daily stresses to en

joy fun camp activities as well as to relax and enjoy various spatype amenities."

The deadline to submit a completed application is Fri., Sept. 1.
