Kids will plant terrariums

On Sun., Aug. 27, the Kids' Adventure Garden at the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden will present a terrarium-making crafts class for children at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Cost is $5 and reservations are required. Children will need to bring their own container, and the garden staff will provide all other needed supplies. This garden area specially de

signed to entertain children is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday at 350 W. Gainsborough Road, Thousand Oaks. Here, children have an opportunity to learn about nature and gardening. The site features a tree house, dinosaur garden and more.
