Citizen's tip in T.O. results in drug arrest

After narcotics officers heard from a concerned citizen regarding suspicious activity, detectives conducted surveillance in the vicinity of Conejo School Road and Los Feliz Drive in Thousand Oaks.

At 5:30 p.m. Aug. 16, police observed a hand-to-hand exchange between two adult males, one of them identified as Jose Esteban, 26, of Thousand Oaks.

Esteban was stopped after he attempted to leave the area and was arrested for suspicion of selling methamphetamine and for selling narcotics near a school.

Esteban was booked into Ventura County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
