A Thousand Oaks woman, 74, was killed last Friday as she crossed the street.

Gloria Hernandez Rodriguez, was walking north across Avenida de Las Flores between Montgomery Road and Calle Rosa at 8:08 p.m. July 21 when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Steven Sinclair, 53, of Thousand Oaks. Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Avenida de Las Flores was closed for about three hours between Calle Rosa and Montgomery Road as investigators studied the scene of the accident.

Neither drugs nor alcohol appeared to have been a factor, police said.

The investigation was continuing.
