Teens raise money for aquarium

Teens can support the T.O. Library by raising money to feed the fish in the new 3,600-gallon saltwater aquarium at the Grant Brimhall Library, donated by the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library.

Youth in middle or high school are welcome to participate by picking up a Read-a-thon sponsor sheet at the Teen Reading Club desk prior to the event and sign up sponsors. Free snacks will be provided for readers, including various finger foods and chocolate.

The Read-a-thon is scheduled for Mon., Aug. 7 from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the library, 1401 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.
