Women's Club to host wine benefit

The Westlake Women's Club will host a fundraiser, "Summer Wine Down," from 4 to 7 p.m. Sun., Aug. 27 at the Westlake Yacht Club, 32123 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

The benefit includes wine tasting with wines from California vineyards and networking, ac

cording to the club, which is a philanthropic, all-volunteer organization serving the Conejo Valley.

The event will feature special demonstrations from wine experts, hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants, chocolatedipped strawberries, a cigarrolling tent, live music, and more.

Tickets are $35 advance purchase or $42 at the door. Proceeds will benefit local charities.
