Lakes Kids Club releases schedule of entertainment at shopping center on Thousand Oaks Boulevard

The Lakes Kids Club will meet every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon for free children's entertainment at The Lakes Community Stage, 2200 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. adjacent to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Aug. 9: Dance and sing with Melissa while she plays songs from her new CD, "Here We Go."

Aug. 16: Fun and games with Twinkles, the magical, musical mermaid.

Aug. 23: Frolic with bunnies, goats, ducklings and other animals in the Petting Zoo.

Aug. 30: Sing along with Dan for "Music and Me."

Sept. 6: Safari Sam brings stories and games.

Sept. 13: Learn creative expression through interactive music with Rhythm Child.

Sept. 20: Jim Gamble's Wonderful World of Puppets brings marionettes to perform their antics in full view.

Sept. 27: Dan returns for more sing-a-longs with "Music and Me."
