Teen participates in leadership seminar

Thousand Oaks resident Geoffrey Carr, 13, has been selected to participate in the Junior National Student Leadership Conference for middle school students. This year, about 1,500 gifted

students from across the U.S. and 45 countries will study, experience and develop the skills that define a leader. The conference will include workshops and classes on characteristics of leadership and special guest speakers.
