Vandals caused $550 in damages when they broke a glass trophy case sometime between 2 p.m. July 4 and 6:30 a.m. July 5 at Newbury Park High School in the 400 block of Reino Road.

Between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. July 5 on N. Wendy Drive, someone attempted a burglary.

Thousand Oaks

A motorist was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol at 1:30 a.m. July 6 on southbound Hampshire Road just south of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

At 12:45 p.m. July 5 in the 1400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, someone was arrested for possession of drugs.

Police arrested a suspect for possession of drugs and drug intoxication at 1 p.m. July 5 in the first block of Quinta Vista.

Someone was arrested for petty theft at 2:50 p.m. July 5 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Between 5:15 and 6:30 p.m. July 5 in the 1400 block of El Cerrito Drive, someone stole property from a home. The dollar loss wasn't reported.

Police arrested a suspect for assault with a deadly weapon at 5:30 p.m. July 5 on Moorpark Road at Avenida de Las Flores.

At 6:10 p.m. July 5 in the 1100 block of Greenfield Street, police arrested a suspect for drug intoxication.

Someone was arrested for drug intoxication, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia at 6 p.m. July 4 in the 1700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Between 7 and 7:20 p.m. July 4 at Home Depot in the 2700 block of Teller Road, someone shoplifted merchandise. The dollar loss wasn't reported.

On the night of July 4 at Colina Intermediate School in the 1500 block of E. Hillcrest Drive, graffiti vandals caused $200 in damages.
