President Hoover's doctor prescribed this sport

GIVING A HEAVE-HO-Thousand Oaks resident Matthew Dansey is playing Hoover Ball at Conejo Creek Park North with his friends. Hoover Ball is a combination of tennis, volleyball and medicine ball. It was invented, developed and perfected by then-White House physician Adm. Joel T. Boone to help keep former President Herbert Hoover physically fit.
