Running to help Meals on Wheels


BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers 'IF I DON'T GIVE UP, I WILL MAKE IT'-Matthew Smith, 4, of Thousand Oaks displays the determined look of a marathoner as he starts the 1K run at the Senior Concerns Love Run. The annual event last weekend began at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza. It benefits Meals on Wheels. About 600 runners participated in the fundraising event, which also included 5K and 10K runs.
