Football camp coming to Moorpark High

Boys and girls ages 7 to 13 are invited to sign up for Moorpark Football Fun Camp from 9 a.m. to noon Mon. through Fri., June 19 through 23 at the Moorpark High School football stadium. Youths can still register on the first day of camp.

The camp will teach the fundamentals of non-contact flag football, including passing, receiving, offense and defense. Participants will play in every position. The emphasis will be on personal instruction, safety and having fun.

Camp instructors will be the Moorpark High School head football coach and Moorpark player coaches.

The cost is $100, with a group discount for 10 youths who register together. Players need to bring shoes with cleats, gym shoes, sunscreen and water.
