Baroque music featured

California Lutheran University will sponsor an evening of baroque music performed by Ensemble Bella Musica. "The Music Garden of Telemann's Winter" will be presented at 4 p.m. Sun., June 11 in Samuelson Chapel on the CLU campus at 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.

Under the direction of Joshua Shekhtir, the Ensemble will present a musical mosaic concentrating on compositions written by Georg Philipp Telemann.

Special guests include Luciana Lombardi of San Francisco on the bass viol, Gregory Maldonado, former director of the Los Angeles Baroque Orchestra, on the baroque viola, and Laura Halladay on the baroque flute.

Admission ranges from $12 to $15; free to students with CLU I.D.
