Residents are invited to send their children to Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to noon, June 9 to 23 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, at the corner of Camino Dos Rios and Lynn Road in Thousand Oaks. The school is for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

The theme is "Treasure Cove," with a treasure hunt each day to discover the riches of Christ. Each day the children will collect and solve clues and explore their own treasure maps. The Bible stories, games, crafts and snacks will help them find the hidden treasure.

A picnic will be on the church grounds at 6 p.m. Thurs., June 22 for all children, parents, helpers and teachers.

Registration forms are available at the church. The cost is $5 per child.
