JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers SPRING PLAY--Newbury Park High School thespians and theater boosters are presenting "Aida," a modern rock opera based on Verdi's 1871 work, at 7 p.m. tonight, Fri. and Sat., May 18, 19 and 20, and later next week, Thurs. and Fri., May 25 and 26, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sun., May 21 in the school's Performing Arts Center, 456 Reino Road, Newbury Park.
