Versatile comedian to perform at The Canyon

Jim Gaffigan Comedian Jim Gaffigan will perform on Sun., April 30 at The Canyon, 28912 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills, as part of his 2006 national theater tour.

Comedy Central is currently running his hour-long special, "Beyond The Pale," and in February he released CD and DVD versions of "Beyond The Pale."

Club patrons may recognize him from his numerous film and television roles.Gaffigan had recurring roles on NBC's "Ed" and Fox's "That 70's Show." He appeared on "Sex and the City" as Miranda's boyfriend and on all three incarnations of "Law and Order." He's in the current Sierra Mist television ads with Michael Ian Black and Kathy Griffin.In December, Gaffigan will co-star in the new TV series, "My Boys" on TBS.

This year he will star in the feature film "The Great New Wonderful" along with Maggie Gyllenhaal, Edie Falco and Tony Shalhoub, and he will be seen in M. Night Shyamalan's "Lady in the Water."

At the Sundance Film Festival in January, Gaffigan was seen in the film, "Stephanie Daley," starring Tilda Swinton and Timothy Hutton.

Gaffigan also created the animated superhero-duo "Pale Force" featuring himself and Conan O'Brien. Gaffigan will debut the third installment of "Pale Force" on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" tonight, Thurs., April 27.
