Former international model Jennifer Strickland will be the guest speaker at the Hidden Beauty Event for girls and women ages 10 and up at 6:30 p.m. Fri., May 5 in the gym at Royal High School, 1402 Royal Ave. in Simi Valley.

Strickland will discuss how to encourage girls and young women to show their true beauty by dressing modestly and the true

meaning of modesty, as well as the story of her life in the fashion world, including myths of worldly beauty. She will share her personal testimony and biblical principles.

The event will include a fashion show, music and skit.

Tickets are $4 in advance and $6 at the door.
