Local author to sign books Westlake Village resident Robert Weibezahl will be signing his debut novel, "The Wicked and the Dead" at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on the UCLA campus Sun., April 30. Weibezahl will be at Book 'Em Mysteries, booth 441 from 11 a.m. to noon and at Sisters in Crime/LA, booth 221 from noon to 2 p.m. His novel is a mystery set in the Hollywood film industry, introducing screenwriter-cum-amateur sleuth Billy Winnetka. Midwest Book Review has called it "a tightly-written mystery with captivating characters and an extremely likeable main character that pulls you along with the ride of a lifetime." A member of the Westlake Village Junior Women's Club, Addison sat at a table with a group of friends. "This is a good cause to raise money for organizations that need our help," Addison said. "It's also a good way to mingle and have a good time with friends." The Westlake Women's Club meets the second Tuesday of the month at the Westlake Village Inn. There is no age requirement.
